Five individuals have been arrested in Limbe in connection with the death of Mr. Ndinga, a resident and property owner in Mile 2. The arrests follow a police investigation into his disappearance earlier this month.

Victim Reported Missing

Mr. Ndinga, who managed a construction site in Limbe, was reported missing by his wife after he failed to return home. She contacted authorities after being unable to reach him.

“It was unusual for him not to respond,” she stated during questioning.

According to police, the victim’s site supervisor, George Abel, invited him to Kie village to discuss a possible land purchase near a quarry. Upon arrival, Mr. Ndinga was reportedly attacked by four individuals and buried at the site.

Authorities state that George Abel left the scene with the victim’s vehicle and travelled to Douala in the Littoral region. Police later located and detained him.

Confession and Arrests

During questioning, George Abel reportedly admitted to hiring four individuals from Mutengene to carry out the act. All four have since been apprehended.

A police representative stated, “The suspects are in custody and cooperating with the investigation.”

Police took the suspects back to the site where the body of Mr. Ndinga was found in a shallow grave. It has since been exhumed for official procedures and burial preparations.

Authorities say the motive behind the incident has not yet been determined, and investigations are ongoing.
