Former Indomitable Lions striker, Nguea Enogue Jacques has died aged 66, family members have confirmed.
The ex Cameroon International reportedly died following a long-term illness.
He gave up the ghost Tuesday May 31 at the Yaounde Emergency Center.
The former striker was ferried to the Yaounde emergency center on Monday May 30, on the instructions of the president of the Cameroon football federation (Fecafoot), Eto’o Fils.
However he succumbed to death Tuesday May 31, 2022.
The Cameroonian footballer played as a forward.
He played for the Lions between 1977 and 1984, participating in Cameroon’s first FIFA World Cup in 1982 and its win of the 1984 African Cup of Nations.
