French prominent lawmaker, Sebastien Nadot Member who is Parliament for Haute Garonne in the South Western part of France has called for intervention in the ongoing Anglophone Crisis.
In a letter addressed to Nicolas de Riviere, Permanent French Ambassador to the UN, the MP said he was concerned about the over 3000 deaths and hundreds of thousands displaced.
The absence of a “Democratic process” in Cameroon he adds, makes the situation grow worse on a daily basis in the Anglophone regions.
To him, the risk of a genocide can also not be wiped out.
The French MP’s reaction comes after similar concerns expressed by US congressmen and several rights groups in and out of Cameroon.
