A gendarmerie officer whose name we got as Ndogmo Zeuton has been shot dead in Bertoua, East region of the country.
The uniform officer was killed by armed men during a patrol in the area.
The incident took place yesterday, July 31, 2022.
We gathered that four men armed with AK47s fatally shot him to death while his colleague miraculously escaped.
