Godlife Global Church Ordains Five Pastors and Engages with Gospel Bloggers
Godlife Global Church marked its 7th anniversary on Sunday, March 23, 2025 with the ordination of five pastors and a formal engagement with gospel bloggers. Led by Apostle Alain Joshua, the church highlighted its commitment to expanding the reach of the gospel and strengthening its connection with the community.
The ordination of Pastor Clinton, Pastor Alvine, Pastor Samuel, Pastor Margaret, and Evangelist Ives aligns with the church’s mission to enhance spiritual leadership. Apostle Alain Joshua emphasised the role of pastors in maintaining a direct connection with their communities and ensuring that the church remains an active presence in people’s lives.
The event also recognised the role of digital media in modern ministry. Prominent gospel bloggers were invited to collaborate with church leaders in amplifying the gospel’s reach. Attendees included representatives from Kamer Gospel, led by Nfor Frank; KAMER Wonder; Old Cy Pancho International; and Cameroon Kingdom Promo, led by Lawrence Ngano. Their participation further highlighted the growing significance of blogging and social media in documenting church activities and engaging with a wider audience.
“For a long time, churches have ignored the power of bloggers, but the truth is, if the church does not tell its own story, the world will tell it in a way that suits them,” Apostle Alain Joshua said.
He also emphasised that blogging serves not just as a platform for news or trends but as a tool for recording spiritual revivals, sharing testimonies, and ensuring that the impact of faith-based initiatives extends beyond church walls. He urged pastors and ministers to consider, “Who is blogging your revival? Who is telling your testimonies? Who is ensuring your impact is not forgotten?”
The event further highlighted the need for churches to integrate media strategies into their outreach efforts. As digital platforms continue to shape public discourse, religious institutions that engage with them will likely have a stronger and more enduring influence.
The collaboration between Godlife Global Church and gospel bloggers signals a shift in how churches approach communication and engagement. By leveraging digital media, faith communities can build stronger connections, document their growth, and extend their message to a broader audience.
Apostle Alain Joshua and Godlife Global Church have however, taken an active role in integrating faith and media. The question for other churches is not whether to engage with digital platforms but how effectively and swiftly they can do so.
