Journalist Adele Mballa Loses Second Child in 16 Months

Adele Mballa, the former 8:30 news presenter and now Central Director of Editorial Monitoring at CRTV, is grieving the loss of yet another child.

Just 16 months after the tragic death of her son, she has now lost her daughter, Ines, who was in her thirties.

Reports say Ines collapsed suddenly and passed away under mysterious circumstances on Friday, October 11.

Her death echoes the sorrow Mballa faced previously when, in July 2023, the lifeless body of her son, Steven Atangana, was discovered decomposing on the Nsimalen highway in Yaoundé.

After locals discovered Steven’s body, police were able to identify it, which resulted in extensive media coverage at the time.

As condolences pour in from the media industry and netizens, many are wondering what could have caused the successive deaths of Adele Mballa’s children.

The questions surrounding these incidents remain unanswered, but Adele Mballa continues to be in the thoughts and prayers of many, as she faces the pain of losing two children in less than two years.
