Security forces have just surrounded the headquarters of Cameroon Renaissance Movement party in Nlongkak,Yaounde where a press conference was to take place.
The meeting, announced for 10:am was later transferred to the CRM Head Office in Odza, Yaounde due to heavy military presence at Nlonkak.
But it seems leaving the house has been impossible for Prof Maurice Kamto as journalist have been waiting for hours at Odza.

On a facebook post minutes ago, Angelbert Lebon Datchoua, spokesperson for the CRM presidential candidate said his mobile phone and laptop were snatched.
Earlier today, the campaign manager of Prof Maurice Kamto, Paul Eric Kingue issued a message of gratitude to voters who performed their civic right for the change of what he called leadership in Cameroon.

“Ladies and gentlemen, dear fellow citizens,
many of you have affirmed your determination to bear Mr. MAURICE KAMTO, flag bearer for the Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM), to the supreme magistracy of our country, during the presidential election, of which we all are expecting the official results.

The first trends already available are largely favorable to the President MAURICE KAMTO, and it is to each and every one of you that the merit of these tendencies returns.

In my capacity as Campaign Manager of President MAURICE KAMTO, a function I have assumed with honour, I thank you very sincerely for all your contributions, because the much desired change is being achieved very fast.

I invite you at the same time, to remain vigilant so that our victory is not stolen. I can tell you with certainty, the satisfaction of the President MAURICE KAMTO in view of these first tendencies.

Thanking you again, ladies and gentlemen, dear fellow citizens, please accept my heartfelt gratitude.

Paul Éric Kinguè, Campaign Manager,
Maurice Kamto”.

It remains unknown whether professor Kamto will address the press today.
