The kejom pressmen KPM Friday 7th of May 2021, paid a courtesy visit to Hon Agho Oliver, an elite from kejom and member of parliament for Bafut-Tubah constituency. The member of parliament after holding a brief session with the executive members of the kejom pressmen, led a delegation alongside the kejom pressmen to join another illustrious son of kejom, Awonti Gejung ( commissioner of economy development) in the regional assembly of the North West region, to celebrate the passing away of his father inlaw, Pa Mertin Suh Tangye Ntumgia.

The Executive of KPM led by Akumbom Elvis Mc carthy (coordinator), Manace Vubangsi ( SG ) and Mokum Thomas (Communication Officer) used the event to congratulate Mr Awonti Gejung for his election into the bureau of the NW regional assembly while pledging their total support to him and other sons and daughters of kejom where ever they are.

The coordinator, Akumbom Elvis McCarthy talking to the press shortly after the funeral of Mr Awonti Gejung’s inlaw, said the Kejom pressmen believe in the statement ‘unity is strength’ [‘Ntienteh di kedioh’ in Kejom language], reason for which they came out to join Hon. Aghoh Oliver show unity in the burial of an inlaw.

“Awonti Gejung’s inlaw is a kejom inlaw, that’s why we came” Mc carthy said.

On his part, Awonti Gejung expressed his joy for such a force from Kejom that came out to support him for the funeral of his inlaw. He further said he counts on the Kejom people and especially Kejom pressmen for support to attain his objectives.
