Kribi: Chinese corporate employee killed in car accident

A traffic accident in Kribi, Cameroon’s South Region, claimed the life of a Chinese national working for a Chinese company.

The China Harbour Engineering Company-CHEC employee was killed in an accident on his way to work along the Boro Road, local media has reported.

Some witnesses have said that the man, whose identity has not been made public, was struck by a car whose driver immediately took off after the collision.

Samy Lenwr, a comedian and performer from Cameroon, died in a similar accident that occurred in the same location.

To gather all the details about the unfortunate incident, the police flocked to the area.

The morgue of the Kribi District Hospital is currently housing the body of the Chinese employee.
