Eyono Ebanga Franck Derling has been transferred from Lokoundje sub division where he served as the divisional officer.
In a presidential decree signed Wednesday, September 9, 2020, the civil administrator was transferred.
He has been replaced by Manga Ombolo Christian Seraphin.
Eyono Ebanga Franck Derling is accused of having murdered his girlfriend; Lydienne Solange Taba with his gun on the 25th of July.
Unconfirmed sources have so far stated that the administrator mistakenly fired as he was cleaning the gun.
To the family of the girl, justice has not been done following the death of their daughter. They regret that the administrator is still free to exercise his functions despite the death of their daughter.
In other appointments, Esambe Malle Enongene has been appointed sub-divisional officer of Babessi subdivision in the North West. Boroung Mbamba Yacoubou is the new administrative head of the Kombo Abedimo sub division in the south west while Ntihnwat Valentine has been appointed DO of Ndop.
New DOs appointed in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon will have to handle issues of insecurity, and reconstruction of the regions and to champion back to school in areas that have been paralysed since 2017.
