The identity of a man shot dead last night by separatist fighters in Kumba has been confirmed.
The victim, Fuh Max Dang, was a Physics teacher and GCE Chief Examiner.
He was shot dead at close range by the separatist fighters who visited his home last night asking to see him.
Fuh Max who was commonly referred to as ‘grandfather’ was home with his family at his residence close to GBHS Kumba.
The separatist fighters are said to have knocked on his door and asked his kids to call their father.
Upon setting eyes on him, they shot him point blank as his wife and kids watched helplessly before making away into the dark night.
The motive for their action remains unknown, though many believe it is connected with the Anglophone crisis and some separatists’ desire to stop all school-related activities.
Grandfather is the second GCE Examiner killed in the town.
