Lifeless body of an 18 year old discovered in a beach in Limbe


A boy who is estimated to be around 18-years-old has been found dead at the Malabo beach in Idenau-Limbe.


The boy who’s name Mimi Mefo Infos has not yet gotten, is set to have drowned while he went to the stream on Friday October 2, 2020 with one his siblings for laundry.

He dived into the water despite opposition from his younger brother to swim – And, he was later taken away by the waves. “He went there at the Malabo beach to wash dresses with his younger brother and then he decided to swim,” our informant told us.

“His younger brother cautioned him not to swim but he insisted that he could swim and that was it,” he revealed to MMI.


After being carried away by the waves yesterday afternoon, his lifeless body was washed down to the shores of the beach where he was discovered early this morning.

Locals around the Idenau beach have now alerted the local authorities and elements of the national Gendarmerie have now been sent to the site where they are expected to conduct an assessment report.
