A 7-year-old girl was crushed to death at Feu Rouge Bessenge on the afternoon o Saturday September 29, 2018 by a gravel-transporting truck.
It happened about 15 metres from Tue Nkongsamba Express. Her legs were scattered and arm plugged off.
She was sitting by her mother who was selling food at the road side.
The mother is said to have escaped and abandoned the helpless little girl, her only daughter, as the truck whose driver had lost control of it, violently approached them.
The corpse has been kept in a morgue. Two workshops also suffered severe damages.
Elements of the 9th Police District arrived later in the evening at the scene to take stock of the situation. By the time they arrived, an angry mob had flattened tires of the lorry.
The driver disappeared into thin air as the vehicle crashed into the Azongo Hydraulic Maintenance Workshop.
A lawyer invited by the police noted damages of the three victims. A court case is awaited between them and proprietor of this truck
