The President of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement has filed a formal complaint against the pro-regime activist who threatened him at his residence at the time the protests were being organised in Switzerland against President Paul Biya.
In a video which quickly went viral on social media on July 12, Bily Akélé who had returned to Cameroon from France blamed Maurice Kamto for his repatriation back to Cameroon.
With plans already hatched at the time to protest against President Paul Biya’s stay in Geneva, the activist warned that on no occasion should the president be harmed, if not he, Maurice Kamto, would get action from him as well.
Earlier today, one of the Communication managers of the CRM party, Mathieu Youbi announced on his Facebook page that a formal complaint had been submitted before authorities by the CRM president against Bily Akélé for incitement of tribal hatred, threats with firearms and other criminal offenses.
