Meantime in an outing today, the Cameroon Renaissance Movement party has rejected the election results circulating on Social media and called for defence of victory.

The CRM and the coalition which constituted itself around candidate, Maurice Kamto described it as results of fabricated minutes which unmasked fake Transparency International observers for the national and international opinion to accept.

The coalition maintained that Kamto is winner of the election.
“The coalition continues to claim the victory of Maurice Kamto in this election in conformity with the truth from the polling stations in the evening of October 7, 2018… the coalition rejects all forms of violence which the regime would like to endorse…It takes upon itself to inform national and international opinion of the responsibility of the regime in the orchestration of acts of provocation with aim to trigger post-electoral violence which it would like to charge the coalition with…” members of the Kamto coalition noted.

They also called on the people to remain vigilant and protect their victory.
