Media woman, Rebecca Liwusi Jeme begins final journey

The body of Rebecca Liwusi Jeme has been removed from the mortuary in Yaounde.

The body of the fallen journalist will receive honours at the ministry of communication in Yaounde before departure for Buea in the South West of Cameroon.

She will be buried on Saturday, January 23rd, 2021.

The divisional delegate of communication for Momo division in the North West of Cameroon died early this month following an explosion in Momo division when suspected separatists attacked the convoy of the Senior Divisional Officer of the division.

In the process, four military men equally lost their lives while others were injured.

Separatists later claimed responsibility for the attack. They accused Rebecca Liwusi Jeme of championing the fight for separatists to lay their arms and join the disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration centre.
