The secretary of the committee of the ministry of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, Rev. Emmanuel Massok has inducted six church officials in the North West region with a call for them to use the word of God to speed up the peace process in the region.

He told the PCC Ntamulung congregation in Bamenda that it is in difficult moments that the faith of Christians brings out the tested methods of the Almighty.

He told the officials to shine the light wherever they are and be a solace to the population that have been subjected to an armed conflict.

“I have asked them to fast and pray for the deliverance of the land”, Rev. Emmanuel Massok said.

Amongst those inducted is the Regional communication secretary who also doubles as the station manager of CBS Radio Bamenda, Gemnda Emmanuel. He says in times like this, he will be advocating for peace journalism and bringing holistic communication to the people.

The inducted officials were appointed two years ago and had already been serving the PCC in their various capacities across the region.
