Michele Ndoki has taken to twitter to announce she will stand as candidate in the parliamentary elections early next year.
This came barely few hours after the electoral college for the municipal and legislative elections were convened.
“It will be a moment of truth, for those of you who believe I’m engaged to the the people, the time for the union is here, on February 9, 2019. I will be honoured to be a parliamentarian…,” she wrote on twitter.
The firebrand human right lawyer was released from prison in October, after spending over eight months in prison. The Cameroon Renaissance Movement party member was arrested alongside hundreds of party officials and allies.
