Travels along the Enugu-Bamenda Trans-African Highway have been halted due to gunfire clashes between separatist fighters and the Cameroon military.
The combat, according to witnesses, took place at Mile 87, Bali Road, after Naka village.
According to a video making rounds on social media, the travelers who indicated that over 500 vehicles had been grounded, were all seen lying on the ground, for fear of the unknown.
The voice behind the video noted that the people had spent the night on the road, up to yesterday November 19th, 2021, but are yet to make their way out.
