A taxi driver has been arrested in Mutengene, South West Region. Eyewitnesses say he was caught fleeing after knocking down a child in Buea.
“He was trying to escape when two police officers followed him with a different vehicle and caught him near the Baptist hospital in Mutengene where he was trying to take a shortcut and towards Limbe road,” a witness explains.
The state of the child said to have been knocked down remains uncertain at the moment.
