Six boys suspected to have killed a soldier in Yoke, Muyuka have been arrested.

The boys are believed to have killed and buried Ndongo Jean Noel, Chief of Control Post at Brasseries Muyuka Friday November 8, 2019 in Yoke, a locality in Muyuka Subdivision in the South West region of Cameroon.

According the military, restoration forces responsible for the killing have all been apprehended and are under detention.

On the pictures, only four persons can be seen, but soldiers claim six people were nabbed

Before then, pictures and vidoes circulated on social media showing the alleged killers exhuming the remains of the Ndongo Jean Noel from a cocoa farm with the use of cutlasses and bare hands under the watchful eyes of heavily armed military men.

To other sources in the South West Region of Cameroon, the boys presented by the military as captured killers of Ndongo Jean Noel are inmates taken from Buea Central Prison and portrayed to frustrate public opinion.

Alledged crime scene in Muyuka

But that the shallow grave was located is suggestive that those arrested may well have carried out the heinous murder.
At the time of this report, the real identity of the boys was not certain.

On November 8, 2019, a video on social media presented Ndongo Jean Noel naked as he was being interrogated by boys believed to be restoration forces for few minutes before he was shot and buried in a shallow grave.
