The remains of Nsom Hilary have been laid to rest in his native Njinikejem in Boyo Division, North West region.
Nsom’s body was found in an advanced state of decomposition in his house at Obili on January 2, a discovery that shocked Kom indigenes in Yaounde.
The unsettling circumstances surrounding his passing have sparked widespread concern, with friends and family calling for a thorough investigation.
Adding to the intrigue, Hilary’s social media accounts have been erased.
His Facebook account, once active, now stands empty, with all his pictures deleted.
Similarly, his WhatsApp profile has been blocked.
These digital anomalies have fuelled speculation and left many baffled.
Chanceline Nyangha, a Facebook user, expressed suspicions.
“There’s something wrong somewhere. His Facebook account is totally empty. What’s going on? Chaiiii. I thought he locked it, but two people have confirmed the account was cleaned up.”

Friends, family, and former classmates have taken to social media to mourn his loss and demand clarity.
The remains of the community leader were laid to rest in his native Njinikejem, on Friday January 3, 2025.
As tributes pour in, questions about the circumstances of his death remain unanswered.
