1 Mancho Bibixy and other anglophones detainees  arrested from Kondengui Prison on the night of July 22 and taken to some detention centres in Yaounde have returned to the central prison. Macho Bibixy and other coffin revolution leaders arrived the central prison yesterday.  They decry torture and inhuman treatment meted on them at the GSO and SED detention centres. They continue to denounce poor detention conditions and the need to release them ahead of back to school this September. 

2 The body of Nkeku Francis is now lying at the mortuary at the laquitinie hospital in Douala. The 54 year old man native of Binju Nkambe in the North North region died of liver,kidney and heart problems . He was arrested and detained some 11 months ago for supporting the fight for the restoration of Ambazonia statehood. His death brings the number to five detainees arrested in connection to the anglophone crisis that have died at the new bell central prison in Douala in thirteen months.

3 A man shot dead and another wounded at quarter 11 in Mutengene Tiko sub division in the south West region of Cameroon.  The incident happened at about 5pm this evening.  In a short video of the dead man circulating on the social, the man was shot at the compound dying at the spot in his own pool of blood.

4 Stakeholders in the south west region of Cameron have resolved that back to school in the region this September will be effective.  In a preparatory meeting today the governor Bernard Okalia Bilai acknowledged the severe difficulties experienced in the region last academic year. Its unclear how the authorities envisage school resumption when daily killings continue in the region.

5 Kere Amara Ezioge is due to visit a hospital tomorrow in Douala for an effective and followup medical check up. The native of Mbande village in the North West arrived Douala today from Kuwait where she was administered a medical poisonous substance by a medical doctor on the request of her employers.The twenty seven years girl says its thanks to Cameroonians community in the Kuwait that she finally returned safely. 

6 Traffic congestion continue to paralyse the movement of vehicles and persons at the east entrance to the city of Douala. People spend over six hours to drive through yassa neighbourhood.  They blame heavy duty trucks that have mainly occupied the road in total disregard of a decision from the SDO banning their movement at the east entrance from 5 :00Am to 9:00 pm till the 31st of August.

7 Thirty eight year old Bidoume Beniot is under detention at the gendarmerie brigade at Douala 2 for illegal possession of elephant tucks . The man arrested around Ndokoti roundabout in Douala is helping the gendarmes to get the names of all those involved in the deal of elephant tucks.

8 Bachenga water project in the centre region of Cameroon will supply some 300 to 400 cubic metres of water daily upon completion.  The PM Joseph Dion Ngute visited the area today. The project is worth 500 billion francs cfa. The PM reassured those who lost their lands for the project will be duly compensated by the government. 

9 Sub contractors of Prime PROTOMAC ; have protested this day in Garoua North region of Cameroon.  They are deamanding the payment of their  their money.The  construction company is in charge of  constructing a stadium and other related infrastructure ahead of 2021 AFCON.
