Crops earlier planted by farmers in some parts of the division have withered following a prolong absence of rain.

“We don’t know if to plant again or wait until the rain falls. How long are we going to wait?” a local farmer questions.

The absence steady rain to help crops germinate well has also been reported in several parts of the North West region.
