The Divisional Officer for Ndu, Adamu Shuaïbu Ibrahim has now ordered that the Motorized Infantry Battalion in Ndu opens a disciplinary action against elements that were filmed torturing an Anglophone civilian by the name Fai Bongong.

The victim was reportedly tortured on the 11th of February in Ndu till he went unconscious. In the over 9 minutes video that made rounds on Social Media, his torturers were heard asking him the whereabouts of his brother, who is believed to be a separatist fighter.

Despite him crying and pleading sthat he had no idea where his brother was, these forces kept torturing the victim till he passed out.

Shocked by these gruesome actions, the D.O. for Ndu ordered in a communiqué published today February 14 for legal action against those forces to be opened with immediate effect.

In the communiqué, the D.O. expressed dissatisfaction at the fact that these elements had the audacity to film their actions.

It is still unclear if the tortured victim survived after the inhumane treatment.
