Six government ministers were questioned by lawmakers today at the National Assembly. They were quizzed on policy implementation and shortcomings in their respective domains of control. Among them were the Ministers of Defense and that of Water and Energy Resources.


Women’s Empowerment Minister, Marie Therese Abena Ondoa has said government needs to double efforts in combatting sexism, early and forced marriages, among other ills. Speaking in parliament today, she said a lot of violence persists because victims are scared to speak up.

Rt Rev Fonki Samuel Forba was today re-elected President of the Council of Protestant Churches in Cameroon(CEPCA). The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon was elections took place Friday 25th /re-elected at the body’s 52nd General Assembly in Limbe, South West Region.




Investigations are ongoing after five kids eere poisoned to death in Djemba, Yokaduma, East Region. The act is rumoured to have been committed by a jilted ex lover of the children’s mother. He is said to have given them poisoned bread.
