A public transport bus of the Touristique agency is said to have left passengers stranded in a bush in Ngaoundere, Adamawa Region of Cameroon.
According to reports, the bus from Ngaounderé broke down at around 3 p.m. Yesterday July 12, in a village called Wack, not far from the cliff of the city.
The 70 passengers aboard this Touristique agency vehicle were left to themselves till 9 p.m. in the night.
The passengers of this bus, bound for Maroua did not benefit from any assistance and nothing was done to relieve the vulnerable people who were on board this vehicle.
Immersed in darkness and fear, especially in this rainy season , the passengers were thus left at the mercy of attacks, mosquitoes and other dangerous insects.
The families of the passengers remained worried all evening especially with the presence of little children on board the vehicle.
Among the passengers, were also young holidaymakers who were expected at the Maroua agency by their parents.
According to our informants, the passengers, finally had to manage to reach Maroua by themselves.
