Moyo Lawal reacts to leaked sex tape
Popular Nigerian Movie star Moyo Lawal has broken the silence on a sex tape of hers that has been making the rounds on social media for days now.
The video of her having sex with her ‘man’ has been causing a lot of excitement on social media.
She said on her Instagram Page that the private video of her having sex with her Ex was shared without her consent.
“A private video of mine from a while ago was shared without my consent, violating my privacy and trust,” she said, adding “I want to emphasize that this video was done with my ex whom I was to marry at that time, was never intended for public consumption, and its unauthorised distribution is a breach of my boundaries.”
She went further, “It really hits me funny because I have always maintained a strict approach to my sexuality, even going as far as being celibate for a few years, refusing to date often, and choosing to be alone most times. However, I am determined to not let this unfortunate incident break my spirit.”
Moyo Lawal Promises Legal Action
Many have been asking what she plans to do after the leak, given that to them, it was meant to rub her career and others in the mud.
“This criminal breach of privacy will be treated with legal action,” she said.
Lawal has also sent words of thanks to her fans, whom she said have stood by her since the unfortunate leak of her sex video.
“I appreciate the support and understanding of those who have reached out to me during this challenging time. Please know that your kindness and goodwill mean the world to me.”
This is not the first time sex tapes of celebrities have trended on social media. Not long ago, it was that of music star Tiwa Savage, a case many say was more critical than that of Lawal.
Many reacted by saying it was going to destroy her, but she had since left the past behind and moved forward with her life and career.
There are those who are of the school of thought that insinuates that whenever artists want to ‘blow’ as they put it, they engage in scenes like this.
