One person is said to have been killed in Mboliv-Nseh, Nkum Subdivision in Bui Division.
This, residents say is as a result of infighting between rival Amba camps.

Sako, a member of the Ambazonian Defence Force is said to have passed away after being captured and tortured by a certain Commander Fihtiir, leader of a rival Ambazonian fighting group. Sources say this was because he had complained about the maltreatment and extortion of civilians by other armed groups.

“Immediately news arrived that Sako had died, the population raided the house of commander Fihtiir and burnt it with those of his deputy Commanders in a place called Mboliv where his camp is based” a source states.

Sako could barely survive in the hospital where he was rushed to for medical care

Fihtiir is said to have called Commander Chacha in Kikaikom, Kumbo for assistance, telling him the act was carried out by another Amba commander, Ebube who had beaten a young man who later died on his way to hospital.
“Chacha moved in and ransacked the camp and shot four of Ebube’s boys on the leg” our source explains, adding that “the population is in fear with some on the run for fear of the lives”.

“Immediately general Chacha’s boys arrived Nseh, they started beating up civilians and shooting bullets to the sky. They also seized cell phones and wallets from some people, closed the Nseh market and drove everyone away” another states.

Noting that this is not the first time the likes of Commander Fihtiir are carrying out such acts, MMI is told “these boys intimidate the population and trample on traditional rulers without respect”.

Following heavy gunshots that rocked the village of Nseh last night, three have been reported abducted by those ‘soldiers’ who came from kumbo.
