At least thirty shops have been reduced to ashes in the Mboppi Market commonly known as Marche Mboppi in Douala II municipality.

Sources say, the fire incident that began in the late hours of Monday November 11, 2019 consumed shops along blocks 5 and 10 dealing in kitchen utensils, chemical and cosmetic products. “All the shops in the area have been reduced to nothing,” says a source.
