Presbyterian Church Kumba Town, located in Kumba, Meme Division of the South West Region, held a rededication service yesterday, October 9, 2022.
The rededication service saw the presence of a commission of senior Pastors, led by the representative of the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC).
The latter conducted the service, basing on the, “promise of Jesus Christ of “making all things anew,” as stated in Revelation 21:5 in the Holy Bible; after the turbulent times the church faced from Sunday, June 26, 2022, when elections were to be organized to replace the Chairperson of the congregation, Elder Comfort Nkele, on accusations of corruption and misappropriation, ” reported Express FM Radio 91. 5
The rededication service was among the resolutions arrived at during a meeting held on September 24, 2022, to resolve the crisis plaguing Presbyterian Church Kumba Town.
It is however reported that a good number of members are yet to come to terms with the vindication of Rev Mary Nduma and her associate by the
Synod Executive Committee of the Presbyterian Church.
