The section president of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Party (CPDM) in Dja and Lobo I, Jean Sylvain Mvondo has offered a royal or throne chair to the President of the Republic of Cameroon.
The gift was presented today November 6, 2022, in Sangmelima, South Region, during commemorative activities to mark President Biya’s 40 years in power.
Some party supporters have described the gesture as one of its kind, while critics have been quick to say, it simply solidifies their leader’s life presidency project.
Paul Biya who hails from the South Region of Cameroon has been in power since 1982.
