The second half saw Arsenal forward Saka getting a brace, making it four for England.
Iran’s playmaker Taremi drew back one goal giving some hope to his side.
Marcus Rashford made it five for England with his first touch of the game after coming in as a substitute.

A sixth goal from Jack Grealish seemed to have been the curtains but during extra time, a penalty was awarded to Iran.
This came after some consultation of the VAR system .
Taremi converted the penalty making it 6-2 in favour of England but giving Iran the much needed consolation.
