Four days of celebrations marking the Queen of England’s 70-year reign is ongoing.
Elizabeth II who is Queen of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms took over the throne in 1952 and has ruled ever since.
The monarch is being celebrated across the globe in all British diplomatic representations as well.
She took over from her late father, Albert Frederick Arthur George who reigned until 6 February 1952.
In 1947, Queen Elizabeth married Philip Mountbatten, a former prince of Greece and Denmark, a relationship which spanned 73 years. Philip passed away in 2021.
