Rinyu Accuses Former Manager Achu Normad of Sabotaging Her Online Presence

Cameroonian music sensation NgahRinyu, widely known as Rinyu, has come forward with allegations against her former manager, Achu Normad. The celebrated singer accuses Normad of repeatedly reporting and deleting her new Facebook pages, leaving her without access to her verified account for months. “It is too much, I have been fighting for years,” Rinyu said.

Rinyu, famous for her chart-topping track ‘Controller,’ addressed her fans in a heartfelt 3-minute, 28-second video posted on her latest Facebook page. She expressed her frustration, making it clear that any activities on her verified Facebook account were not authorized by her. This marks the third time she has been compelled to recreate her Facebook presence after previous instances of reporting and deletion, allegedly orchestrated by her former manager.

The rift between Rinyu and Normad dates back several years, according to the singer. Despite her attempts to maintain peace, the strained relationship persisted. Rinyu disclosed that her former boss, Achu Normad, has not only severed professional ties but has also hindered her progress, even after signing a termination contract.

In an emotional plea, Rinyu questioned Normad’s motives, saying, “Normad, why are you doing this? I gave you everything; you took everything away from me.” The singer tearfully emphasised her efforts to move on and expressed her frustration at Normad’s interference with her career.

The termination contract, according to Rinyu, was meant to facilitate a clean break between the two parties. However, her verified Facebook pages continue to be targeted, hindering her ability to connect with fans and manage her online presence effectively.

“I keep trying to move on, and he keeps pulling me back. Because he has access to my verified Rinyu pages, he can get away with anything,” Rinyu lamented.

Despite the challenges, Rinyu has created a new Facebook page for the third time. She asserted that if this page faces a similar fate, it is the result of her former manager’s actions. The new page, titled ‘Ngah Rinyu,’ serves as her latest attempt to regain control of her online presence and reconnect with her fan base.

Mimi Mefo Info (MMI) attempted to reach out to Achu Normad for his response to Rinyu’s allegations but is still awaiting his comments.

Ngah Rinyu, a celebrated singer with numerous hit songs and awards to her name, continues to fight for control over her official pages and strives to move forward in her music career despite the challenges posed by her tumultuous past with Achu Normad.

She is not the only Cameroonian singer, that has come forward, complaining about their record labels.
