“Saddened” Biya tweets comfort to victims of Dschang accident

Cameroon’s President Paul Biya has sent words of comfort to victims of Wednesday’s accident in Dschang, West Region of the country.

53 people died and at least 29 others were wounded when a bus collided with a truck transporting “illicit fuel” around 3:30 am on January 27, 2021.

“It is with great sadness that I heard of the tragic loss of life following a ghastly accident at a cliff in #Dschang,” Biya tweeted.
