Reactions as Samuel Eto’o visits family of late Cameroonian comedian Cabrel Nanjip two months after death

Samuel Etoo Fils, the president of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, visited Cabrel Nanjip Nyamton’s family to offer his condolences.

He travelled to the West region’s Bangangte, Nde Division, on Saturday, August 19, 2023, where he met with the late Cabrel’s mother and other family members.

During the visit, the head of FECAFOOT offered the family words of consolation, solidarity, and support in the wake of their son’s untimely passing.

Two months have passed since the comedian’s funeral.

The comedian and social media star, 33, was killed in a vehicle accident on the Douala-Yaounde highway on June 14, 2023.

Many have praised Samuel Eto’o, saying “You remain the most humane and best President FECAFOOT has ever had,” wrote a social media user.

Cabrel’s role in Cameroonian football

The late Cabrel Nanjip Nyamton was a staunch supporter of Cameroonian football.

During the most recent Africa Cup of Nations, he was one of the key players for the Cameroon national team.

He became well-known in Cameroon and elsewhere due to his acts of devotion to his country.
