SDO calls for peace as insecurity rages on in Donga Mantung Division

The Senior divisional officer for Donga Mantung division, Simon Nkwenti Ndoh has acknowledged threatening cases of violence in the division that was hitherto considered as island of peace.

It is for this reason that the civil administrator has launched a call for amba fighters to follow the practical example of others in in the North West and lay their arms and embrace peace.

He was speaking this day while distributing food items and other goods of necessity from the presidential couple to internally displaced persons from different parts of the division.

It should be noted that last week, a bus driver in Nkambe called Abanda Godlove was brutally murdered by armed men.

In Nkambe today, there is hatred between the indigenous population and Mbororo community that have been constantly accused of acting as spies for the military.
