Security forces neutralize Separatist fighter in Boyo

Reports say a boy has been shot dead in Njinikom, a sub division in Boyo, Cameroon’s restive North West region.

The victim whose name Mimi Mefo Info got only as Marvelous was shot dead as soldiers stormed a camp believed to be housing separatist fighters with whom they have been engaged in battle for close to four years today.

Confirming that Marvelous was a separatist fighter, sources close to his family say he was the lone victim of today’s raid.

“Truly speaking, he was an Ambazonian fighter. I tried to advice him to leave and find something doing to no avail” he said.

“This morning, we got news that he was killed. They were on their way back to their camp as they did not spend the night there yesterday. They were ambushed in Njinikom sub division in Boyo” he explained further.

Thousands have lot their lies since the conflict started, as government and separatist fighters remain at loggerheads and unwilling to reach an amicable settlement.
