Seminarian Dies While Acting Jesus Drama

Reports say Easter 2022 turned bloody as a seminarian died while acting a drama on the life of Christ in Nigeria’s Imo State.

Nigerian news site, Gistlover reports that the tragedy struck at Claratian University of Nigeria, Nekede, in Owerri, Imo State, southeastern Nigeria on Friday, April 15, 2022 as a seminarian. The victim, Suel Ambrose, it revealed, slumped and died while acting in the drama set on campus.

The philosophy student is said to have been enacting the part of Peter when tragedy befell him. An eyewitness is quoted saying, “He was playing the role of the biblical Peter in the dream and that process when Peter cut the ear of one of the soldiers and Jesus fixed the ear and ask Peter to let them do their wish. You know how passionate the play is”.

“So when the soldiers chase the disciples to drive them away from Jesus, the young man fell on the floor and started bleeding,” the witness went on, adding that they rushed him to the school health facility but it was tok late.

“We took him to the Federal Medical Center in Owerri where he was pronounced dead.”

At press time however, no competent authorities have made any remarks on the reports.
