A lady whose name we got as Treasure has been killed in Bamenda by suspected separatist fighters. In a video circulating on social media, unidentified men accuse stand above her corpse warning against “blackleg” in the town.
The video emerged just moments after another with her dancing next to the man alleged to be a member of the armed forces.
This is not the first time civilians are being brutally murdered in Cameroon’s Anglophone regions for having affiliations with security forces or separatist fighters.
Members of the armed groups fighting for the independent state of Ambazonia in Cameroon’s English-speaking regions are still to react to the incident.
