Soldiers Kill Four Boko Haram Terrorists in Far North

Having always been on the Defensive, the Cameroon Military decided to go offensive in the fight against the Boko Haram Jihadists in the Far North Region and this was successful as 4 terrorist got neutralized in an attack on February 15, in the Municipality of Mozogo.

The attack on the terrorists was done in collaboration with the Vigilante groups of the area, and it resulted in four deaths, leaving many more of the terrorists in precarious conditions.

Some other terrorists were also captured in the raid on the group, including two minors of about 13 years. These minors who were also caught with the possession of sophisticated weapons equally confessed of being directly involved in the kidnapping of two girls from the village of Mavari.

The local population has felt particular relief of the exploits of the military as they say that the group has caused untold havoc on them with constant raids and lootings. As early as January 8, the group carried out an attack that killed 13 persons in Mozogo including 8 children.
