South Africa have emerged winners of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament after successfully defeating Morocco.
The Bayana Bayana of South Africa beat the host Country, Morocco with a 2-0 score.
South Africa defeated Nigeria while Morocco defeated Zambia at the level of the semi-finals to both qualify for the finals.
The match was played yesterday, Saturday, July 23, 2022, in Morocco.
This, it should be noted is the first time the Bayana Bayana of South Africa are lifting the continental trophy.
