Suspected human bones trafficker arrested in Bafoussam

A 39-year-old man whose name we obtained as Foyet Nzodom Boris has been arrested for allegedly trafficking in human bones.

He was apprehended in Bafoussam, West region of Cameroon.

He was arrested on May 24, 2023.

He was picked up by elements of the Bafoussam central police station.

According to a source at the judicial police unit, the man was caught in possession of a bag containing 17 human bones ready to be sold in the black market of human bones, according to his own statements.

“The suspect confessed that he belongs to a network of criminals trafficking in human bones,” revealed an MMI reporter.

An investigation has been opened by officials of the central police station in Bafoussam.
