Tanzania is the latest nation to opt for Madagascar’s COVID-19 herbal drink. Tanzania’s President announced that his country was going to begin importing the herbal cure, a similar decision taken by Congo-Brazzaville the BBC reports.
“We will despatch a flight to bring the medicine so that Tanzanians can also benefit. So as the government we are working day and night” president John Magufuli said on TV.
Though the herbal cure is going viral, it has not been well received by the World Health Organization, WHO.
The WHO says it does not recommend “self-medication with any medicines… as a prevention or cure for Covid-19”.
Despite the WHO’s stance, requests for the herbal cure keep increasing as other nations keep placing orders. Madagascar delivered a shipment to Guinea-Bissau the BBC reports.
