Teacher’s Head May Roll For Teaching Kamto’s Philosophy

A philosophy teacher in Bakassi, Ndian Division of the South West region risks being sanctioned for proposing an extract of Maurice Kamto’s book titled “l’ugence de panseé” as one of the three questions of the 5th sequence philosophy exam to his students .
The question number 3 in a set of three, demands students of the terminalé class, an equivalent of upper sixth in the English subsystem of education, to analyse an extract which has to do with tribalism and nation building.

Observers have been expressing fear that he might be dismissed or punished by the government of Cameroon, like the case of his colleague, a teacher of GBHS Mendong in Yaounde who was recently punished and transferred to the Far North Region for setting an exam question on an extract of the same philosophical work of Maurice Kamto.
The Biya regime is mounting repression on Cameroonians from every angle in a bid to perpetuate a life presidency project.
