An unknown number of teachers has been kidnapped this morning Tuesday November 3rd 2020 at Presbyterian Primary School Kumbo, Bui division in the North West regions of Cameroon.

A source in Kumbo has told Mimi Mefo Info that “…the armed men took just teachers of the school and they asked the pupils to go home never to return to school again “.

The identity of those that have taken the teachers is not known. “The situation in Kumbo now is in such a way that one cannot tell who is committing a crime”. Our informant added.

Despite this, some persons in Kumbo are pointing accusing fingers on separatist fighters.

Presbyterian School Kumbo is said to have been functioning despite continous threats by separatist fighters for the school to be shutdown.

At the moment, hierarchy of the Presbyterian Education Authority has not issued any official statement of what happened.

This comes less than two weeks after the dreaded Kumba massacre where seven students were killed by armed gunmen.
