Scholarship Tip

Grades Matter!

Yes, your grades matter; high school report card, GCE Ordinary level results, GCE Advanced Level results, undergraduate and master’s transcripts all matter.  It doesn’t mean that you must have been scoring A grades all your life to be awarded a scholarship but there must be progress in your results. If you had a series of Cs in the first semester, a series of Bs in the second semester and a series of As the next year, that shows that you have potential. And potential is what most scholarship providers look for in a candidate. Your grades are the first impression you make to the scholarship providers and it gets your foot in the door before all the other requirements. Pay attention to them.

Goodluck!
