This Week In Scholarships On MMI Number 9 – 07 February 2021

There has been a slight slowdown in the number of scholarships, so I am happy to present to you a new update of ‘This week in scholarships.

Fully funded scholarships are those scholarships where the scholarship provider covers the bulk of the funds required for studies.

  • Fully funded scholarships MMI

Fulbright Foreign Student Program: The US government is providing scholarships to international students interested in studying in the US. Scholarships are offered at the master’s and PhD levels. Deadlines vary between February and October 2021. The study destination is the USA.

Rotary International Scholarships: The Rotary Foundation is offering scholarships to international students. Scholarships are offered at the master’s level and for professional certifications. The application deadline is the 15th of April 2021. Grantees will get a chance to study in either the USA, Japan, UK, Australia, Sweden, Thailand and Uganda.

Taiwan Higher Education Scholarships: The Taiwanese government is offering scholarships to international students interested in studying at universities in Taiwan. Scholarships are offered at the bachelor, master and PhD levels. The application deadline is the 15th of March 2021. The study destination is Taiwan.

RUFORUM Mastercard Foundation Scholarship: Gulu University and Egerton University in partnership with the MasterCard Foundation is offering scholarships to African students interested in studying at their universities. Scholarships are offered at the master’s level and the application deadline is the 31st of March 2021. The study destination is Uganda and Kenya.

Catto Scholarships for Africans: The Catto Trust is offering scholarships to Africans interested in studying at the University of Edinburgh. Scholarships are offered at the masters and PhD levels. The application deadline is the 30th of March 2021 and the study destination is the UK.

Columbia University Scholarship: The University of Columbia is offering scholarships to displaced students worldwide who are interested in studying at their university and in other leading universities worldwide. Scholarships are offered at the bachelor’s, master’s and PhD levels. The application deadline varies according to the study program. The study destination is worldwide.  

Hatfield Lioness Scholarship: The University of Durham is offering scholarships to international students interested in studying at their university. Scholarships are offered at the master’s level and the application deadline is the 31st of March 2021. The study destination is the UK.

DAAD ClimapAfrica Scholarship: The DAAD is offering scholarships to international students interested in studying in Germany. Scholarships are offered at the postgraduate level and the application deadline is the 15th of 2021. The study destination is Germany.

KUAS-E Scholarships: The university of Kyoto is offering scholarships to international students interested in studying at their university. Scholarships are offered at the master’s and PhD levels. The application deadline is the 26th of February 2021 and the study destination is Japan.

Aarhus scholarships: Aarhus university is offering scholarships to international students interested in studying at their university. Scholarships are offered at the PhD level and the application deadline is March 15th 2021. The study destination is Denmark.

Partially funded scholarships are scholarships where the scholarship provider takes care of some of the financial expenses and the students cover the rest.

  • MMI partially funded Scholarships

University of Bologna Grants for International Students: The University of Bologna is offering scholarships to international students interested in studying in their university. Scholarships are offered at the bachelor and master levels. The scholarship deadlines are 31st March 2021 and 30th April 2021. The study destination is Italy.

Université Paris-Saclay Scholarships: The University of Paris-Saclay is offering scholarships to international students interested in studying at their university. Scholarships are offered at the master level. The application deadline is the 16th of May 2021 and the study destination is France.

University of South Wales Scholarships: The University of South Wales is offering scholarships to international students interested in studying at their university. Scholarships are offered at the bachelor and master’s level. The application deadline is the 31st of March 2021 and the study destination is Australia.

Heinrich Scholarships: The Heinrich Boll Foundation is offering scholarships to international students who have obtained admission to universities in Germany. Scholarships are offered at the masters and PhD levels. The application deadline is the 1st of March 2021. The study destination is Germany.

University of Bradford Scholarships: The University of Bradford is offering scholarships to international students interested in studying at their university. Scholarships are offered at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. The application deadline is ongoing. The study destination is the UK.

Excellence Master Fellowships: The University of Geneva is offering scholarships to international students interested in studying at their university. Scholarships will be offered at the masters level. The application deadline is the 15th of March 2021. The study destination is Switzerland.
