Transport Minister Prohibits Wearing of Miniskirts by Staff, Public in Ministry Premises

The Minister of Transport, Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe has prohibited the wearing of short skirts by workers and she general public around his ministry.

This prohibition comes as one of others measures implemented by the Minister since the start of the new year in his fight against indecency.

Minister Massena Ngalle Bibehe has also prohibited access to his ministry from persons with torn jeans, short dresses, dirty clothes, and outfits that reveal their bodies.

These measures by the Minister of Transport are reminiscent of similar ones taken by some six Cameroonian ministers in 2013.

These Ministers issued a joint communiqué against indecent dressing dressing by girls. They also threatened to hit defaulters with legal action.
